We decided to Uber to the Space Needle for less than $7, which we could have walked to in probably 15mins. There's countless restaurants within walking distance. We also walked to Pier 56 for dinner at infamous Ivers. LOCATION - located about 2 blocks from Pike Place and the Market. We talked places to visit, restaurant suggestions, etc. The level of service we received from both Jonathan and Sahara was superb! They were both genuinely pleasant and friendly every time we passed the front desk, and not that I'm only being nice because it's my job friendly □. We're in Seattle to celebrate our birthdays and Jonathan graciously upgraded our room. He was extremely helpful and even remembered me at check-in. I called prior to my arrival and spoke with Jonathan because I wanted to ensure my room type. Traveling during COVID can be tricky, but I felt perfectly comfortable at the Palladium with the precautions being taken. But I don't know the situation at night.ġ.44km from Pacific Northwest Ballet I love Kimpton properties and the Palladium did not disappoint. We have been observing the house for a long time, and the tramps did not harass passers-by during the day. There are still few hotels around, and the more you go to downtown Seattle, such as the Westlake Center, the more Pike Market. The problem with the surrounding tramp is that this is true throughout Seattle. There is always lemon ice water in the lobby, and it’s nice to have a drink from the outside in the summer. We have not yet lived in a hotel with laundry facilities. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are available on the first floor of the hotel. There is also a microwave oven, which can be borrowed from the front desk. There is a coffee machine in the room and coffee and tea are provided free of charge. There is also a cooked food such as roast chicken. There is a small supermarket across the street from the hotel. There is direct bus service to the cruise terminal, and it is not far from the airport to the Westlake Center light rail station. I don’t know if this place is ADA friendly because you use stairs to go to the communal kitchen and even to the front desk but I assume there are other routes.ġ.07km from Pacific Northwest Ballet The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Bell town. Tracy recommended a few places that sounded really lovely to go to, but we didn’t end up having enough time to go everywhere we wanted this time. This place is a short walk to Pike Place Market, which we absolutely loved going to. Laundry machines are mildly expensive, you’re looking at 8 dollars to wash and dry minus cost of detergent, but it’s worth it if you have a lot of clothes because the machines are big (we were only here for a few days so we didn’t utilize this.) For some reason all of our Uber drivers had trouble finding the location and always drove past the hotel even though it’s right on the corner but all of them were pretty nice about turning back around. Loved the tea selection they had in the kitchen. There was a bit of street noise at night because our room was right above the neighboring restaurant/bar but that’s not an issue for me. Desk and desk chair were a little dusty, but I assume people don’t really use it often and it’s nothing you couldn’t brush off yourself. There were bathrobes in the room which is nice but we didn’t use them. Our room was nice and I liked that they had cotton pads and cotton swabs in the room for guest use. Check-in was quick and easy with Brandon and Tracy.
